So we're on lockdown but that WILL NOT STOP US getting children to make their mark!!
Our team of 35 teachers across the UK have been working really hard behind the scenes planning daily online live broadcasts and building a timetable full to the brim of fun and educational activities for your little ones...
From GLOOP to Play Dough making and Easter Crafts to Homemade Fine Motor Activities! (...we'll also be taking your requests!)
All of our activities have been specially designed to help your little one develop their early writing skills. At Little Learners, we believe that the more that children have fun mark making and
developing their motor skills, the more prepared and condent they will be when it comes to writing.
We'll even be introducing you to our Mark Maker characters!
LET'S DO THIS!
To join in on the LIVE's just head over to Little Learners UK and like our page - we'll be going live daily on there at 10am.
Please INVITE your friends and share far and wide. Due to covid-19 Little Learners sadly had to postpone all of our sessions across the UK. This has left over 30 passionate, self employed ladies out of work for the foreseeable. Many of them with children of their own (who you'll most likely see in the videos!) Naturally devastated we are all trying to raise spirits by sharing our ideas with you all and helping parents and carers to stay sane during the school closures!
So what is Little Learners?
Little Learners delivers educational messy play classes for babies to pre-schoolers, where the journey of four fun characters – The Mark Makers – is followed, with a focus on one of them each week.
Messy play, painting, play dough, scribbling, dance and more are used to encourage children to mark make and learn early writing skills through play. Parties and events are also offered, as is work in schools and other early years settings.
At Little Learners children are encouraged to use hands, fingers, feet and toes to make marks which will help to strengthen their core muscles and develop their gross and fine motor skills. These skills are vital for holding and controlling a pencil and
letter and number formation when they reach school age.
We hope your can join us at a class near you when we are back up and running! - littlelearnersuk.com
